Book Sellback Info
When selling your textbooks at T.I.S. there are five factors which determine the amount of cash you can get back.
- The book has been reported. A professor has ordered the text for a class in the coming semester. You may be offered up to half of the price of the book.
- The book has been dropped. No professor has ordered this text. You will be offered the national wholesale market price.
- Overstock. Sometimes a book is being used in the coming semester, but we already have more copies than we need. We can still offer you the national wholesale price. T.I.S. operates its own wholesale division, so we can offer the best wholesale price.
- The book has not been reported. We are waiting to hear from the professor. Our information is updated daily. We may offer you the wholesale value, or you may choose to wait for the report.
- The book has a new edition. The author has revised the text. This most often takes away any resale value.
The above factors, along with the physical condition of the text, constitute the amount paid for a book.

Shipping Policy
All in-stock merchandise is shipped within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your order. Shipping and handling charges will be determined during the checkout process.
For Ground, please allow seven to ten business days for delivery. For 2nd Day, please allow 2-3 business days. For Next Day, please allow 1 business day.
Orders received after noon on Friday or during the weekend will be processed the next business day. This DOES affect any order requiring Next Day or 2nd Day shipping.

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands Orders
Shipping is available. Orders shipped to one of these locations are subject to additional service charges in addition to regular shipping charges.

Return Policy
Course Material Purchases (includes online course material orders)
- Original cash register receipts required.
- If original purchase was made with a credit card, then you must have the credit card to receive a refund.
- New books must be clean and unmarked. If the book was shrink-wrapped at the time of purchase, it must be in its original shrink-wrap
- Last day for full refund: Spring 2013: Tuesday January 21st, 2013
- After first week of classes - Current buy back value only.
- No Refunds will be given on any book purchased during the last two weeks of class and the final exam period.
- T.I.S. Management has final say on book condition.
- Plastic-wrapped or otherwise sealed books, packages, CDs and pin/passcodes are non-refundable if the seal has been broken or pin/passcodes have been activated.
- Course Packs, Reference books, Cliff Notes and Study Aides are non-refundable.
- T.I.S. reserves the right to request a Student I.D. for full refund.
- A non-activated eBook may be returned with receipt. Once an eBook has been activated at DigitalTextbooks.com it is no longer returnable. For a refund on a non-activated eBook purchased online, please call or email us.

- Refunds accepted with receipt if merchandise is not washed or damaged.
- If no receipt, an exchange is possible.

T.I.S. Group is committed to providing its customers with a pleasurable and secure shopping experience. Credit card fraud is virtually non-existent on the Internet, but it could happen.
